Trademark Guidelines
Last updated: February 27, 2025
1. Overview
These Trademark Guidelines ("Guidelines") govern the use of the Syntro.fun name, logo, and other brand assets (collectively, the "Marks"). These Guidelines are designed to protect the integrity of the Syntro.fun brand and ensure consistent representation across all media and platforms.
2. Ownership
The Marks are the exclusive property of Syntro.fun. All rights not expressly granted in these Guidelines are reserved. Nothing in these Guidelines grants you any right, title, or interest in the Marks beyond the limited permissions expressly stated herein.
3. Permitted Uses
You may use the Marks in the following ways, subject to these Guidelines:
- Referential Use: You may use the Syntro.fun name in text to refer to the platform in a factual, non-misleading manner (e.g., "Available on Syntro.fun" or "Built for Syntro.fun").
- Editorial Use: You may use the Marks in articles, blog posts, tutorials, and other editorial content, provided the use is truthful, not misleading, and does not suggest endorsement or sponsorship by Syntro.fun.
- Community Use: Community members may use the Marks for fan pages, discussion groups, and community-driven content, provided it is clear that the content is not officially endorsed by Syntro.fun.
4. Prohibited Uses
You may not:
- Use the Marks in any manner that implies endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with Syntro.fun without prior written permission.
- Modify, distort, or alter the Marks in any way, including changing colors, proportions, or design elements.
- Use the Marks as part of your own product name, service name, domain name, company name, or social media handle.
- Incorporate the Marks into your own logo or brand identity.
- Use the Marks in any way that is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
- Use the Marks on merchandise or physical goods without prior written approval.
- Register or attempt to register any trademark, domain name, or social media account that incorporates the Marks.
5. Logo Usage
When using the Syntro.fun logo:
- Always use the official logo files provided by Syntro.fun. Do not recreate, re-draw, or modify the logo in any way.
- Maintain a minimum clear space around the logo equal to the height of the "S" in "syntro" on all sides.
- The logo should be displayed at a minimum size of 24px in height for digital applications.
- Do not place the logo on visually busy backgrounds that reduce its legibility.
- Do not animate, rotate, or add effects to the logo without prior written approval.
6. Brand Name Usage
When referring to the brand in text:
- Use "Syntro.fun" as the full brand name on first reference.
- "Syntro" may be used in subsequent references within the same content.
- Do not abbreviate, hyphenate, or combine the brand name with other words (e.g., do not use "SyntroSwap" or "Syntro-Token").
- When used in a sentence, the brand name should not be used as a verb or a generic term (e.g., do not say "I syntroed a token").
7. Token and Project Names
Tokens created on the Syntro.fun platform must not use the Syntro.fun name, logo, or brand assets in their token name, symbol, description, or imagery in a way that could mislead users into believing the token is officially associated with, endorsed by, or part of the Syntro.fun platform. Violations may result in de-listing from the platform.
8. Enforcement
Syntro.fun reserves the right to take action against any unauthorized or improper use of its Marks. This may include issuing cease-and-desist notices, requesting removal of infringing content, or pursuing legal remedies as appropriate. Syntro.fun may also revoke any previously granted permissions at any time.
9. Requesting Permission
If you would like to use the Marks in a way not covered by these Guidelines, or if you are unsure whether your intended use is permitted, please contact us for approval before proceeding.
